The Serpentine has appointed Yesomi Umolu as Director of Curatorial Affairs and Public Practice. A new position created in an effort to centre its audience experience and civi engagement enabling their programmes to be more inclusive. The Serpentine already leads with a diverse array of important exhibitors from a global pool and Yesomi’s impressive international experience will further enhance this.
She is currently Director and Curator of the Logan Center Exhibitions at the University of Chicago, where she leads an ambitious programme of international contemporary art.
